I'm still very new to this blog thing, - but since I just LOOOVVVEEE the Kenny K digital designs, I have to give this contest a go and try and blog about it.

Had an interesting day today.....

Yes, indeed I did!

I was colour analysed today. At Christmas I got a voucher for "The House of Colour" for a colour analysis. For those of you who have never heard of this before it basically meant that through an analysis I was told which colours I should have in my wardrobe to make the most of my looks. It's all to do with the skin colour and it's done by using coloured swatches of fabric which is set against your neckline.

Well, it was a surprise for me as I turned out to be "Winter" colours - or to be more detailed "Sultry Winter". Thankfully it means that I can still wear most of my favorite colours - I need colours with a blue undertone to offset what nature has already provided me with. Winter colours are clear, bright, vivid, icy and have high contrast value. It also means that I should always wear silver, white gold or platinum jevellery - which I do anyway. Apparently most of us are naturally drawn to the colours which look good on us and my wardrobe actually consist mainly of the colours which I have just had confirmed suit me. HOWEVER, it does mean that one of my favorite colours HAS to go! No more lime green in my wardrobe.............. Well, maybe I will just keep that just for myself, but maybe I just need to wear it indoors to craft in now. Ha, ha.

It was a great day and I can highly recommend it to anyone - even if it's just for a laugh or a girlfriend day out.

First Ever Post

Hi out there - if anyone should read this post, then please bear with me as it's my first post!

Decided it was time for me to get a blog too, and will decide what to do with it as I go along. So many decisions to make first, i.e. layout, colours etc. Spent ages thinking about a name - and finding one that no-one else had picked first! Eventually settled on Crafty Ragdolls in honour of my two adorable ragdoll cats, who are quite keen on taking part (read play or annoy) in anything crafty I do....
